The Fernhill SCADA Server includes an OPC UA Server. You can connect OPC UA aware client applications directly to Fernhill SCADA without needing any custom interface software.

When you install Fernhill SCADA for the first time, the OPC UA Server is not enabled. This follows good security principles of only running services that are needed. To learn how to enable the OPC UA Server in Fernhill SCADA, see Enable the OPC UA Server.

For a guide to connect an OPC UA Client to Fernhill SCADA, see Connect UaExpert to Fernhill SCADA.
