Introduction

The Omron PLC Tag represents a logical link to an Omron PLC Device.

Configuration Properties

The Omron PLC supports the configuration properties of the PLC Device Tag with RTC.

Data Properties

The Omron PLC supports the data properties of the PLC Device Tag with RTC plus these properties:

Property	Type	Description
Message	STRING[16]	The message displayed on the programming console as set by the MSG instruction in the PLC.

Comments

The Omron PLC tag is an intermediate placeholder for the Omron FINS PLC Tag or Omron Host Link PLC Tag. If you want to use the FINS protocol to communicate with a PLC, create an Omron FINS PLC Tag. If you want to use the Host Link protocol to communicate with an Omron PLC, create an Omron Host Link PLC Tag.

Tag Commands

The Omron PLC Tag supports the tag commands of the PLC Device Tag plus these commands:

DirectWriteBit	2.3	Directly writes a single bit to an address in the PLC.
