Introduction

The Siemens S7 Ethernet Channel Tag Channel Tag Icon provides a TCP/IP communication channel to a Siemens S7 PLC Device.

The channel supports direct connection to the Ethernet port on S7-1200 PLC Devices.

Host WSTRING 1.4 The network address of the Siemens PLC. This can be any of the following:
  • An IP Address. For example: 192.168.1.15
  • A node name. For example: PLC
  • A fully qualified domain name. For example: plc.example.com
Port WSTRING 1.4 The TCP Port number to connect to. For example '102'.
