Introduction

The DisableAlarms Tag Command disables all alarms associated with a tag.

Parameters

None.

Remarks

An Alarm is an indication of an abnormal condition, which requires human intervention to correct. See Alarm Handling for an overview of alarms in Fernhill SCADA.

Users can Disable an alarm to prevent it from appearing on alarm information screens. This may be appropriate if the alarm is a nuisance alarm caused by a faulty sensor or intermittent connection.
