EnableAlarms Tag Command

Introduction

The EnableAlarms Tag Command enables all alarms associated with a tag.

Parameters

None.

Remarks

An Alarm is an indication of an abnormal condition, which requires human intervention to correct. See Alarm Handling for an overview of alarms in Fernhill SCADA.

Users can Enable an alarm to allow it to appear on alarm information screens. This may be appropriate if the alarm was previously disabled.

You can execute EnableAlarms Tag Command from:

From an Operator Action using a TagEnableAlarms Function.
From From a Program Tag using a TagEnableAlarmsFB Function Block. See Example Program to learn more.
The Standard Tag Menu when used with one of the tags listed in the Applies To list.
The .NET API. For an example see Executing a Tag Command from .NET Code.
The Java API. For an example see Executing a Tag Command from Java.

To use the EnableAlarms Tag Command, the user must have the Disable Alarm User Right.
