Status Bar Indicators

Introduction

The Status Bar at the bottom of the Configuration Tool provides feedback during edit operations that use the mouse:

There are two indicators showing graphic editor status:

Current Action - provides a summary of the current edit operation. Only active when the mouse button is down.
Cursor Position - shows the current cursor position. Always active.

When you add new items to the drawing canvas, the status bar shows the current shape type and size plus the current cursor position:

Note: The left indicator shows the current shape type and size in canvas units. The center indicator shows the current cursor position.

When you move items on the drawing canvas, the status bar shows the current offset of the move plus the current cursor position:

Note: The left indicator shows how far you have moved the item in canvas units. The center indicator shows the current cursor position.

When you scale items on the drawing canvas, the status bar shows the magnitude of the current scale plus the current cursor position:

Note: The left indicator shows how much you have scaled the item. The center indicator shows the current cursor position.

When you rotate items on the drawing canvas, the status bar shows the current angle of rotation plus the current cursor position:

Note: The left indicator shows the current angle of rotation. The center indicator shows the current cursor position.
