IEC 61131-3 Subrange Type

Help Contents

Introduction

A subrange type restricts the range of an existing type. For example:

Type
    Current : INT( 0..45 );
End_Type

In Fernhill SCADA, subrange types are a declaration of intent. Fernhill SCADA does not restrict the value of subrange types to the limits implied by the declaration.
