ChangeUser Function

Introduction

The ChangeUser function attempts to change the currently logged on user.

Syntax

Informal Syntax:

ChangeUser( Username, Password )

Formal Syntax:

ChangeUser( Username:=Expression, Password:=Expression )

Parameters

PasswordANY_STRINGThe password of the user.

Return Value

Returns a BOOL value that indicates whether the ChangeUser function succeeded:

Remarks

The Username and Password parameters are validated by the Fernhill SCADA Server.

Examples

  1. Changes the current user to "Supervisor".
    ChangeUser( "Supervisor", "********" );

    Note: The password parameter is not shown for security reasons.
