Introduction

Resets the current drop-down menu definition back to empty.

Syntax

MenuNew()

Remarks

All user interface IEC 61131-3 programs have a drop-down menu definition. The drop-down menu definition describes the structure of a menu in terms of:

A call to MenuNew() clears the current drop-down menu definition.

To add content to the current drop-down menu definition, use these functions:

Function Description
MenuAddCheckedEntry() Adds a text menu entry with a check mark to the current drop-down menu definition.
MenuAddEntry() Adds a text menu entry to the current drop-down menu definition.
MenuAddSeparator() Adds a separator to the current drop-down menu definition.

To open the menu defined by the current drop-down menu definition, call the function MenuOpen().

Example

In the following example, the current drop-down menu definition is reset back to empty:

MenuNew();
