The Trend Plot shows how SCADA measurements vary over time:
To pan the trend plot left or right:
To zoom in to see data in more detail:
Note: One mouse wheel click forward zooms in by 20%.
To zoom out to see a wider time span:
Note: One mouse wheel click back zooms out by 25%.
To display the raw data values associated with a pen:
To display the raw data values associated with all pens:
The Trend Plot supports a vertical ruler, allowing you to display the pen values at a point in time:
The time the ruler represents is shown above the graph area. The values of each pen at the ruler position are shown in the pen area at the bottom of the trend.
You can display or hide the ruler using mouse clicks on the graph area of the plot:
Effect | Action |
---|---|
To show the ruler | Click the graph area of the plot. |
To hide the ruler | Click the ruler in the graph area of the plot. |
To move the ruler to a new location | Click a new location in the graph area of the plot. |
Use these keys to change the X axis of the trend:
Key | Action |
---|---|
Left Arrow | Move the trend to the right to see earlier data. |
Right Arrow | Move the trend to the left to see later data. |
Ctrl + Left Arrow | View the previous time interval |
Ctrl + Right Arrow | View the next time interval |
Up Arrow | Zoom in the X axis by 20%. |
Down Arrow | Zoom out the X axis by 25%. |
Home | Reset the position of the X axis back to the default |
Insert | Toggle between tracking mode and fixed mode. In tracking mode the X Axis moves with current time. In fixed mode the X axis is stationary. |
