Introduction

You can run a Fernhill SCADA Server on an embedded system that runs Linux.

Setup Instructions

Using a root account follow these steps:

  1. Copy the file fernhill-scada-server_3.75_armhf.tar.gz to the device.
  2. Run this command to extract the contents of the file:
    tar -xvf fernhill-scada-server_3.75_armhf.tar.gz -C /

    Note: Files will placed in these folders:

  3. Run this command to start the Fernhill SCADA Server:
    /etc/init.d/fernhill-scada start
  4. Run this command to ensure the Fernhill SCADA Server will start when the embedded device is powered up:
    update-rc.d fernhill-scada defaults
